There will be delays in traffic and we may not get your order to you on time.

Please note that we will NOT be delivering to Remuera, Greenlane, Epsom, Royal Oak, Balmoral, Newmarket City, Ponsonby North Shore & West Auckland on Sunday after 8am.

I am known as the 'green cooking banana' and am a staple in many tropical countries where I am used as we would potatoes, kumara, rice or pasta.

USE ME
I am extremely versatile because as I ripen, I change colour from green to yellow and eventually to black, getting sweeter at each stage - great in dessert recipes too!

When I am green, I am firm and starchy and great boiled, mashed, fried as chips or fried thinly like crisps.

Yellow plantains can be enjoyed sweet or savoury

STORE ME
Just as you would an ordinary banana - out of the chiller!
